Artist Biography
-
Jenny initially chose a more “secure” route for university and studied European management and French – later pursuing a career in marketing and event management.
Frustrated with the lack of creative freedom, she left the corporate world and taught herself the basics of Photoshop and Illustrator, which was then followed by a brief foray into web design. -
It was only a few years later when she started to host and/or organise themed school fundraising events and private parties that she discovered her true passion - making props and set design. No detail went unnoticed as she created an immersive and atmospheric experience. It turned into the perfect combination - she was able to use the transferable skills from event planning and had a creative outlet.
This passion progressed naturally into theater work - designing and making props, and scenic painting.
In addition to her theatrical interests, Jenny is also a keen artist and photographer, creating works using a variety of mixed media. -
Being largely self-taught, Jenny decided to go back to university in 2017-2018 at the University of Creative Arts, Farnham. She gained a ‘distinction' in a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, specializing in 3d Design.

Jenny was born in Brisbane, Australia, but mostly raised in the UK (with a two year stint in Saudi Arabia).
Following her degree (two years of which were spent in Marseille, France), she backpacked around the world for two-and-half years, before returning to work in the the UK.
Then in 2000 she moved to the San Francisco East Bay, California where she lived with her husband for twelve years before they moved to Trondheim, Norway in 2012, with their two children. They stayed in Norway for two years before moving to the UK where they currently reside in Hampshire.
